As the title states, the ARN will be “transmitted” from my Echolink station on 147.555 Every Saturday at 8:00PM Eastern Followed by the Young Amateur Radio Net at 9:00PM Eastern.

Feel free to listen to the ARN and if you are a young ham, feel free to check into the net. My station uses a PL of 123.0.

The third bomb threat called into my school this week was called in today…This is really getting old.

As one local store owner says:

Any threat against ANY school should be treated as an act of TERRORISM!!!

If anyone knows anything please contact the Parkersburg Police Department.

Today is the first Tuesday of the month, so that means it is the WCEC meeting. The meeting takes place at the Wood County E911 Center on Core Rd. in Parkersburg. If you would like more information here is their website http://www.wc8ec.com. It is un-official, but a few members and I plan on meeting at the McDonalds on 7th St. in parkersburg for dinner around 6PM. If you need directions to the 911 center, feel free to meet me there and you can follow me to the center.

I also plan on revealing the forums, and requesting moderators, so keep an eye out.

Well I made it back with only minor problems. I got myself a pair of /\/\ MTS2000 handhelds on 800mhz, and plenty of pictures. I plan on posting them here in the next few days, when I get a chance.

Well, it has been an interesting week. Not much has gone on, but I have enjoyed the week. Tuesday I got called into work, because two of my co-workers called off sick, so I’ll be getting a nice paycheck. I plan on buying a rechargable kit for my surefire flashlight.

 I’ll keep everyone updated.

Well I’m typing this message from the school, so hopefully I’ll find the time to keep the site updated. Tonight is the Toughman Contest at the Parkersburg High School Field House, but tickets for tonight are sold out. To my knowledge, tickets for tomorrow (Saturday) are still avalible. Hope to see some people I know there!
